Here’s my submission to the Indie Film Music Contest – Bear Hugs. Loved working on this submission. This is a great short film with a lot of interesting themes to explore musically.

Check out my blog for my review of the competition.

A big track – lots of fun to write. Layered about 3 million guitars on this which is why it was so fun

A track written by myself and my brother and one of our favourites to perform. Inspired by fun Irish Folk songs and designed to be played at the end of an open mic night when the entire room is bladdered, including the artists.

Trailer track – big drums, big build up and riddled with sound design, much of which I did by making noises with my mouth and processing them accordingly. Will upload many more of these

A 6/8 piece with string quartet, piano, accordion and guitar, lending it a folk mellowness. Loved writing it and love the sample instruments – mainly EastWest Solo strings downloaded from composer cloud

Originally submitted to the LABScommunity and Taetro competition and deserves to be my first post because its fun. The Bass line being one of the best I’ve written so far. Inspired by the daily lockdown stomp and its world righting qualities, particularly through its ability to showcase brighter sunlight, trees in bloom and a new scent in the air. Nice beat and lush sample instruments will please the Sound Lord.
